In June of 2006, we started One Greek Store in Gainesville, FL to provide custom apparel to Fraternities and Sororities. Having limited financial resources, we operated our first business from a small college apartment. Nonetheless, with just one commercial machine and an ambitious dream, we quickly built our company to service students nationwide.

As our business grew, so did our clients. Eventually, we were providing apparel products to local businesses, nurses, students, and more. With the continued growth of our customers outside the fraternity & sorority market, we decided to launch a separate business focused on servicing these new customers. Thus, First Embroidery was created as a full-service embroidery shop. Along with Florida Shirt Printing as our screen printing operation, we now provide complete custom apparel services to clients all over the United States.

Today, we operate a retail facility on University Ave. just two blocks from the University of Florida. Additionally, our entire production operates from a separate warehouse facility in Gainesville, FL. We’ve grown immensely from the roughly 250 sqft apartment workspace in 2006 to the nearly 4,000 sqft of operational and retail space we have today. Our team feels very fortunate to have grown our company this far; and as always, we rely on our loyal customers to push us even further.
